Change in Action

The literacy field is already host to great programs, people and ideas, but we can always challenge ourselves to innovate even further. The emphasis is not just on learning through training events, but, more importantly, on the application of that learning in our work.

To explore how participants apply knowledge after training, the Ontario Literacy Coalition piloted a learning program with six literacy organizations in Ontario. Through an open application process, staff members from each organization were selected to attend the conference and to receive the added benefit of assessment exercises and customized follow-up.

This section highlights these dynamic organizations and their stories of change.

We are committed to showcasing the experiences of the literacy community. If you have a story of how learning has impacted you and your work, let us know and we can feature you on this site!
